Well said ...

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company . . . a church . . . a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past . . . we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude . . . I am convinced that life is 10%what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you . . . we are in charge of our Attitudes.”

If my husband were reading this post you'd hear his AMEN all the way to your house.

When our kids were little and not behaving their best, we'd tell them that they were about to get an "Attitude Adjustment" and these always start from the "Bottom Up".

Thanks I needed a reminder on this today, I've been less than positive and easy going with my family - I think perhaps I'm in need of an "attitude ajustment".

That was very good. Sometimes it can be difficult that "we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way".

I can't have a negative response (even if I only say it in my head) when others behave in a negative manner. Oh boy!!!

Good insight Vicki!
