I have enjoyed reading a series of books by Robin Gunn Jones called "Sisterchicks". In each book a set of friends travel to a different part of the world and discover not only new cultures and scenery, but new truths about God. These are books that are light and fun to read, but full of reminders that God cares about the intricate details of our lives.
In the most recent edition, the Sisterchicks go to Britain and a paragraph near the end of the book stood out to me ...
"It seems that when a wish comes true, it's sweet and satisfying. And when it's over, that's it. But a dream is something that starts in the part of your heart where your passions lie. It doesn't go away."
What are your dreams? Maybe you've lost sight of them or burried them for so long that you don't even remember them. Start with discovering what you are passionate about and then let God lead you from there. I'm ready to begin the process ... want to join me? I've had lots of wishes come true, but dreams? Now that's a different story. Honestly, I have to start at the very beginning because I don't even know what my own dreams are! So, you've been invited to come along. We could have our own "Sisterchicks" adventure into dreams coming true!

Count me in Vickie
I look forward to discovering my deepest dreams with a friend and to be able to share then too.
You have really given me food for thought in this post ,now it's time to really search my heart and discover the inner most dreams that perhapps have been surpressed all these years.
I am hoping to be at church this weekend providing I feel better. I need to get out of here and get my heart pumping a little faster.
I really like that paragraph that you quoted. How very true! It's so important to remember your dreams.
I was just thinking that today
