This morning I had to sew a button on my winter coat. I wish it was because I was so organized that I was fixing stuff as I was putting it away for the summer. But, nope ... it's because I am leaving this summer weather behind and heading to Edmonton where they had nearly 3 feet of snowfall last weekend! uugghh. At least it's only for a few days! Somehow this is all wrong ... aren't you supposed to leave COLD weather and go somewhere HOT for a few days?
Oh well, hopefully the good concerts and spending time with friends will warm our hearts!

as to the weather deal: you must be your father's daughter. he always seems to get the raw end of the deal when it comes to weather.
Oh Vicki.. I have done that.. washed, repaired, weeded out, and stored away all my winter garments, and now we have a white lawn with big white flakes falling.. and Janney wants to wear a pink summer dress with her high healed princess shoes.. and Asher was outside(unbeknownst to the rest of us) and his jeans were too big.. Daddy found him when he came home, about 30 minutes later, wearing underwear, socks and a big sweater - crying at the front door. We didn't hear him.. it was COLD.. I brought him straight to my bed to warm up!\

I JUST got my snow tires off last week. I don't plan on needing them for MONTHS!!
We were in Calgary in Sept 06... we landed in the middle of a snow storm. .. the weather is VERY unpredictable. Will you have opportunity to head into the mountains - to Jasper?
No sight seeing this time, Shari. We got there Thursday evening and left this morning bright and early (Monday). I love the mountains though and wish I had more time to spend near them.
